  • Operational partnership: Work with Operations, Maintenance, Sanitation, and QA leadership to investigate quality issues, identify root causes, verify corrective actions, and reduce repeat deviations.
  • Record maintenance: Maintain accurate and complete records for regulatory, internal, customer, and third-party audit requirements, ensuring documentation is organized, current, and inspection-ready.
  • Inspection and audit support: Support regulatory, customer, third-party, and internal audits by gathering documentation, participating in inspections, and assisting with corrective action tracking through closure.
  • Continuous improvement: Use quality data, trends, and observations to identify improvement opportunities related to product quality, process capability, sanitation effectiveness, complaints, and compliance performance.
  • Training and building bench strength: Help train, coach, and coordinate QA technicians and plant personnel on quality procedures, testing requirements, GMP expectations, and documentation practices.
  • Support: The QA Coordinator acts as a backup resource to the Quality Assurance Manager and helps ensure continuity of QA operations during staffing gaps, absences, audits, or critical business needs.
  • Maintain flexibility to support production schedules, investigations, regulatory activities, and occasional weekend or off-shift coverage as business needs require.
