Industrial Automation Technician

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)
Schedule: 3 Day / 4 Day Rotation (GET YOUR SCHEDULE A YEAR IN ADVANCE) | 2nd Shift | 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Pay: $28-$40/hour DOE + OT Available
Type: Full-Time (DIRECT HIRE)


Love troubleshooting? Keep production running with a global manufacturing leader. We're seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain advanced automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment and production systems.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Partner with Engineering on equipment improvements and installations.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology education or equivalent experience.
