Familiarity with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and sometimes certifications like ASE entry-level credentials are typically required. Attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and effective teamwork are crucial soft skills in this role. These abilities ensure that maintenance tasks are performed safely and efficiently, supporting senior mechanics and minimizing equipment downtime.
