About Maddox PRO

Maddox PRO is a shared services organization and sister company to Maddox Industrial Transformer, the nation's leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market. PRO stands for Professional Resource Organization. We exist so Maddox can stay focused on building and selling transformers while we handle the surrounding work: facilities acquisition, development, construction, and maintenance across all Maddox locations, along with community engagement and business investments in the towns where Maddox operates.

Maddox PRO was founded on the same Christian values that drive Maddox, and we are committed to investing in the people, processes, and culture that make this a great place to work. We build real things, solve real problems, and believe that a thriving business and a thriving community go hand in hand.

About Maddox PRO + You

We are seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented Property Manager to manage the operational and financial health of our growing real estate portfolio. This is a high-accountability role that sits at the center of our Real Estate team, working with the Real Estate team to ensure that all properties are managed with excellence.

The primary mission of this role is to ensure our assets are performing as intended, starting with the disciplined management of rent collections and tenant compliance. This role is for someone who finds deep satisfaction in organization and "clean" accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for our tenants, ensuring that rent is collected, lease terms are met, and the property remains a professional reflection of Maddox PRO's standards.

Core Responsibilities

Financial

  • Ensure rent is paid on time and in full.
  • Follow up on late payments, issue notices, and apply late fees per lease terms.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure tenant accounts are accurate.

Administration

  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain lease records, track expirations, renewals, and rent escalations.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, including keys, utility information, and insurance documentation.
  • Work as liaison between tenants and in-house construction team to prepare spaces for occupancy.

Operations

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve property maintenance issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure assets meet company standards.
More About You
  • You prefer disciplined systems over loose ends and "playing catch-up."
  • You are comfortable having "tough" conversations about money and lease compliance with a high level of professionalism and grace.
  • You are unflappable under pressure and can handle multiple tenant requests without losing your focus.
  • You are highly organized, your spreadsheets are clean, and your files are easy for others to navigate.

Skills & Experience

  • Lease Administration: Ability to read complex commercial leases and identify critical "trigger dates" (escalations, renewals, and insurance expirations).
  • "Firm but Fair" Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to ensure lease terms are being met while providing excellent customer service.
  • Administrative Discipline: High proficiency in the Google/Apple ecosystem. You are "detail-obsessed."
  • Experience: 2+ years in property management, real estate administration, or a high-volume accounts receivable role.
Basics
  • Full-time
  • In-office role based in Battle Ground, WA.
  • Availability: Standard business hours, with the reliability to handle urgent property issues if they arise.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $28-$38/hourly DOE.
  • Comprehensive benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (depending on eligibility), including:
    • Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options)
    • 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages
    • Paid maternity and paternity leave
    • Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts
    • Vision, dental, disability, and life insurance
Pro Tip

We receive a high volume of applicants. If you want to stand out, include a few sentences telling us what specifically attracted you to this role and why you believe you would thrive coordinating Maddox properties.
