Overview

We are seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to build and lead our procurement function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for designing processes, implementing tools, and delivering measurable cost savings across the company. With a broad scope spanning multiple spend categories, including Logistics, IT and Marketing, you will have many ways to positively impact our business. As the function grows, there will also be opportunities to shape and scale the team and define its long-term direction.

Responsibilities

Build the Function

  • Design and implement source-to-pay processes
  • Select and deploy procurement tools and templates
  • Establish reporting (dashboards, savings tracking, renewal pipeline and vendor management programs)
  • Conduct spend analysis and create a centralized contract repository

Drive Strategic Sourcing

  • Lead RFPs and competitive bids
  • Negotiate contracts across all indirect spend categories
  • Manage SaaS/IT renewals and conduct supplier risk assessments
  • Track and report savings with clear methodology

Governance & Compliance

  • Enforce finance policies and approval workflows
  • Partner with IT and Legal on risk, security, and contracts
  • Establish procurement governance frameworks

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and expand reach
  • Serve as procurement subject matter expert
  • Train teams on processes and tools

Qualifications
  • 7+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing across multiple categories
  • Experience building or transforming procurement functions
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Experience with procurement tools (P2P, S2P, CLM)
  • Working knowledge of contract fundamentals
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

Preferred

  • AI tool usage in procurement (contract analysis, spend analytics, market insights)
  • Retail/consumer industry experience
  • Familiarity with tools like Procurify, Tropic, or similar
  • Procurement certifications (CPSM, CPM, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.  
  • Ability to communicate information and observe details at close range.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required
