What You'll DoAs an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations while building a positive, high-performing team.
Your responsibilities include:
- Helping lead all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Coaching, developing, and motivating team members through positive leadership
- Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
- Leading shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
- Monitoring labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift
- Assisting with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards
- Handling customer concerns professionally and creating positive resolutions
- Supporting scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals
- Opening and closing the restaurant as needed
- Leading by example and fostering a positive, accountable, team-first culture

- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must meet applicable age requirements for operating certain equipment, including slicer equipment, where required by state or local regulations
- Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable
