Job description

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage healthcare construction projects including hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities

  • Lead project teams through preconstruction and construction phases

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, project controls, and construction processes

  • Coordinate work in occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruption to operations and patient care

  • Communicate and collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and healthcare facility teams

  • Support preconstruction activities including planning, budgeting, and coordination efforts

  • Participate in business development activities including proposals, presentations, and client meetings

  • Lead project meetings including owner-architect-contractor meetings and project status reviews

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control requirements, and life safety standards

  • Manage phasing plans, infection control measures, and coordination of complex MEP systems

  • Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and overall team performance

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years of construction experience with strong healthcare project experience required

  • Experience managing hospital renovations, expansions, and projects within occupied healthcare environments

  • Strong understanding of project phasing, infection control procedures, and life safety requirements

  • Experience coordinating complex MEP systems and construction activities in regulated environments

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

  • Strong client relationship management and business development support experience

  • Excellent written, verbal, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with construction management tools such as Bluebeam and Procore preferred
