Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Northport, AL, 35476. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our apartment community remains a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed and materials used.
  • Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including painting and cleaning.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance projects and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain a positive community atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in apartment or facility maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various maintenance issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • HVAC Certification is a plus
