Excalibur Associates is a recognized leader in the Security Management industry. Seeking a Junior Locksmith to assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of locks and security systems. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to develop hands-on skills in locksmithing while working under the guidance of experienced technicians. The position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to customer service and security standards.

Job Skills/Requirements
  • Junior Locksmith Duties
  • Consult with Senior Locksmith to coordinate the best solution for lock repairs.
  • Classified and filed records to keep the system efficient, and all information organized.
  • Reviewed lock specifications to understand each operation and implement the correct adjustments, minimizing future errors and avoiding wasted materials.
  • Research correct order numbers for keys/equipment needed for daily tasks.
  • Delivered administrative lock tech support each day, including data updates to profiles.
  • Troubleshot and diagnosed problems with safes, electronic locks, and mechanical locks, independently/partnering to resolve routine issues and organizing more advanced repairs.
  • Organized tools and checked the shop's equipment to maintain a neat and safe work area.
  • Occasionally transporting boxes, containers and equipment with the use of a hand cart.
  • Some knowledge or experience with X0 , Unicans, Kaba Mas Kpelx 5700/5800 type locks.
