Position Overview

As a New Development Leasing Manager, you'll be at the forefront of launching and leasing our newest property in Fort Worth. Your role is dynamic, encompassing strategic brand building, partnership cultivation, and innovative marketing implementation. You'll oversee a leasing and marketing team, ensuring they're equipped and aligned with lease objectives. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding the team through the sales process and optimizing marketing efforts to achieve success.
Your success in this role hinges on your creativity, multitasking abilities, dynamism, and networking skills. You'll need to be an innovative thinker with a knack for devising fresh marketing approaches and leasing strategies, capable of seamlessly managing day-to-day operations while navigating leasing goals, and proficient in leveraging referrals, and enhance the visibility and reputation of our property.ย 


Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of the part-time and full-time sales and marketing team, including scheduling, training, and ensuring adherence to University Partners standards and objectives.
  • Execute tasks and strategy in go-to-market strategies and leasing plans to promote brand awareness and ensure successful lease-up of assigned new developments.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses, academic institutions, and community stakeholders to broaden market reach and drive leasing opportunities.
  • Responsible for compiling and executing all leasing and marketing reports for the respective community.
  • Plan and execute impactful events that generate buzz and excitement in the market.
  • Monitor and evaluate the sales knowledge and touring performance of the part-time team, providing guidance and support as needed to enhance effectiveness.
  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations within the temporary leasing space to maintain operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance, including lease execution, financial requirements, and adherence to company policies to meet milestone eligibility for incentive programs.
  • Accountable for achieving leasing milestones aligned with company goals.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday


Ideally, You'll Have

  • High School graduate; college degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in leasing, real estate development, or property management.ย 
  • Proven experience in executing successful go-to-market strategies and driving occupancyย for student housing communities in student markets.ย 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and Windows and/or Apple operating systems.

You'll crush it if you have experience with

  • A creative edge, adept at driving leasing success through innovative strategies, seamless multitasking, and effective networking, all while maintaining a strong focus on sales performance.
  • Energetic, imaginative, and enthusiastic, adept at articulating a compelling vision and securing leases effectively.
  • Experience with Entrata and Canva.
