Job description

We are seeking a experienced and customer service-oriented Leasing Agent, to join our team in Federal Way, WA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of our properties. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of property management, and the ability to handle conflicts effectively. This is a hourly plus commission position.

Duties

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and amenities.

Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals in accordance with company policies.

Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and any issues are resolved quickly.

Utilize property management software (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and managing lease agreements.

Stay informed about local rental market trends and assist in setting competitive rental rates.

Handle conflict management situations effectively, striving for resolutions that satisfy both tenants and management.

Experience

Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred but not required.

Yardi experience

Spanish speaking preferred

Experience with property leasing in apartment communities is preferred

Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with potential tenants and current residents.
