Job description

Hanagan Landscaping is a rapidly growing company dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces in Philadelphia, PA. As an Assistant Landscape Crew Leader, you will play a key role in bringing our clients’ landscape visions to life. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about landscape design and maintenance, enjoy working outdoors in a team environment, and are eager to develop their skills in a supportive and growth-oriented company. Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading a crew to complete landscape maintenance and installation projects efficiently and safely
  • Mow lawns using both riding and push mowers
  • Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls
  • Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass according to project plans
  • Trim and prune trees and shrubs to maintain healthy growth and appearance
  • Remove lawn debris using rakes, shovels, and blowers
  • Shovel snow and apply salt to walkways and driveways during winter months
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite
  • Operate standard landscaping machinery and tools safely
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality results
Qualifications
  • Experience with landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
  • Ability to operate standard landscaping equipment (riding mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
