Overview

Ardurra is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager supporting Local Public Works Civil Engineering projects, working with local municipal and transportation clients for our practice in Boise Market (Meridian, ID or Nampa, ID). This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned civil engineering professional to lead complex local general civil projects, manage client relationships, and drive business growth in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the projects—from project development, design and construction—while ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with governmental agencies, mentor team members, and leverage your regional network to identify and execute business development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in "Civil Engineering"
  • PE License in Civil Engineering field
  • 8+ years of related experience in civil engineering within specific region in site design, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design and permitting with notable experience managing clients and employees 
  • Business Development/Network within region, highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites 
  • Highly self-motivated self-starter, able to forecast and initiate project management tasks 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects, staff, and client relations 
  • Work directly with governmental agencies  
  • Responsible for local public works projects with a strong background in: 
    • Drainage 
    • Utilities
    • Roadway design 
  • Identify, analyze, and execute business development opportunities within specific network region
  • Prepare scope and fee estimates 
  • Prepare invoicing
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment 

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
