  • Ensure overall cleanliness of guest units and public areas by effectively supervising housekeeping staff, including those assigned to laundry, unit preparation, and cleaning.
  • Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments to ensure services are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Train, coach, and support the development of housekeeping staff, and partner with Resort Management to identify and address future training needs.
  • Prepare and maintain housekeeping schedules as directed by Resort Management.
  • Assign and manage daily work responsibilities for housekeeping team members.
  • Prepare maintenance work orders and monitor progress through completion.
  • Serve as a primary resource for housekeeping staff questions and concerns, involving Resort Management as appropriate, including but not limited to employee injuries, leave of absence requests, and company policy clarification.
  • Communicate performance and personnel issues to Resort Management and provide input for annual performance reviews.
  • Manage housekeeping department inventory as directed by the Resort Manager, including tracking and restocking linens, housekeeping supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Respond to guest service requests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Report employee injuries and incidents to Resort Management or Human Resources in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform or assist with cleaning and inspection duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of related housekeeping experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
