Role Summary
We’re hiring dependable Crew Members to join our junk removal team. Crew Members work in the field under a Crew Leader, handling junk removal tasks safely, efficiently, and with great customer service. This role is physically demanding and requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Junk Removal & Physical Labor
  • Safely load, haul, and remove furniture, appliances, construction debris, and other items.
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving in varying weather conditions.
  • Leave job sites clean and presentable after completion.
Customer Service
  • Greet and interact with customers professionally.
  • Answer simple questions; escalate pricing/concerns to Crew Leader.
  • Represent VETS values of service and respect in every interaction.
Teamwork & Support
  • Follow Crew Leader instructions quickly and accurately.
  • Assist in daily vehicle readiness checks (lights, PPE, equipment).
  • Work with team to ensure jobs are completed on time.
  • Support recycling/donation initiatives by sorting appropriate items.
Safety & Equipment Care
  • Follow all safety protocols and use PPE consistently.
  • Handle tools and equipment responsibly, reporting issues promptly.
  • Maintain safe lifting techniques at all times.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Must know how to operate a truck hauling a trailer (experience driving a truck hauling a trailer required)
  • Valid driver’s license (clean driving record a plus)
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Previous junk removal, moving, or labor experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
