Job description

JOB TITLE: Controller / Additive
PAY RANGE: $80K - $110K   | TYPE: Onsite / Hybrid

QUICK SUMMARY
As our Controller, you'll play a key role in understanding what drives manufacturing performance—from inventory accuracy and standard costing to margin analysis and financial reporting. You'll work closely with both finance and operations leaders to ensure our business has the information needed to make smart decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
  • Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliations
  • Analyze manufacturing variances including labor, material, overhead, and PPV
  • Assist with annual audits, inventory observations, and audit support schedules
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting accuracy
  • Support standard costing processes, cost roll-ups, BOM validation, and inventory controls
  • Partner with plant leadership to improve operational and financial processes
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP

REQUIREMENTS:
  • CPA required (Strongly Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights to business leaders
