Job Description Summary:
The Inventory Accuracy Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through the execution of daily cycle count activities, variance investigations, reporting, and inventory adjustments. This position focuses primarily on performing inventory cycle counts using an ABC count methodology, identifying discrepancies, researching root causes, and ensuring approved inventory corrections are accurately processed.
This role requires strong attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to follow established procedures. The Inventory Accuracy Specialist plays a critical role in supporting inventory integrity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by ensuring inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory.
 Knowledge/Skills:
 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
 
  • Perform daily inventory cycle counts according to established ABC inventory count schedules.
  • Accurately count and verify raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and other inventory locations.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify potential causes of count variances.
  • Document count results and prepare variance reports for management review and approval.
  • Process approved inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Recount and validate inventory discrepancies as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and report recurring issues or trends.
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and Inventory Control personnel to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with physical inventory activities and annual inventory audits.
  • Ensure inventory transactions and counting activities comply with company procedures and internal controls.
  • Maintain organized records of cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and audit documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and counting processes.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while performing inventory activities.
  • Verify work-in-process inventory quantities on the production floor and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and ERP records.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
 
  • Ability to walk throughout warehouse and production areas.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to established company guidelines.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform inventory counts for extended periods, utilizing a ladder regularly.
  • Ability to operate inventory scanning equipment and related warehouse tools.
  • Comfortable in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Security Access:
 
  • Must be eligible to work with export-controlled technical data and comply with Amphenol access controls
  • Must be capable of holding US Security Clearance

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
