Job description

Job Summary

We're looking for an Inventory Clerk to help keep materials, inventory, and shipments organized and moving throughout our operation. In this role, you'll support shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and warehouse activities that help ensure our teams have the materials they need to serve customers and support production.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify quantities against paperwork.
  • Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and on time.
  • Enter inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Organize materials and keep warehouse storage areas clean and orderly.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Create and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or shipment issues.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment; forklift operation may be required if trained and certified.
  • Work with team members across operations to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and workplace procedures.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, retail, stockroom, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using inventory, warehouse, or ERP systems.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Regular movement and handling of inventory, materials, and shipments.
  • May require operation of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, if trained and certified.
  • Work may be performed in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a warehouse environment.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
