Job description

Position: Inventory Specialist
Location: La Mirada, CA
Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00 p/h
Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our busy team! This position is heavily focused on inventory control, receiving, stocking, order picking, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a strong understanding of material movement and inventory accuracy. Forklift experience and certification is helpful but not required.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments by inspecting contents and comparing materials against packing lists and invoices.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between packing lists and materials received.
  • Unpack and properly organize incoming inventory.
  • Put parts and materials away in their designated bin locations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Pull parts from inventory accurately based on sales orders and prepare them for shipment.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with processing RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) returns.

Required Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse inventory experience is required.
  • Strong experience with receiving, stocking, picking, and inventory control.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize warehouse materials as required.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting the warehouse team.
