Job description

Franklin Dental Care & Dentures is a high-volume dental practice providing essential oral healthcare to our community. As the only Medicaid provider within a 30-mile radius, we play a key role in serving patients across the City of Franklin and surrounding areas.
We are currently growing our team of dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, supported by structured systems focused on efficiency, reliability, and quality care. Our team also supports initiatives through Bright Smiles Community Outreach, expanding access to care through community outreach.
We are seeking a motivated college student to support our Human Resources team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on recruitment, outreach, and maintaining structured hiring processes. You will work directly within our systems to help manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and support hiring efforts across multiple roles.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage job postings across Indeed, Handshake, and Workable (ATS)
  • Screen resumes for roles including Front Desk, Dental Assistants, Interns, and nonprofit positions (including Director-level candidates)
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and structured notes
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process

Outreach & Recruiting:
  • Conduct outreach to universities, dental schools, and professional programs
  • Build relationships with career centers, student organizations, and community networks
  • Support advertising strategies to increase visibility of open roles, especially dentist and clinical positions
  • Track outreach efforts and follow up with candidates

Operations Support:
  • Assist in maintaining organized HR documentation and systems
  • Support improvements to hiring workflows and processes
  • Identify tasks that can be streamlined or automated

Additional Opportunities:
  • Support initiatives with Bright Smiles Community Outreach, including outreach and community engagement
  • Opportunity to assist in marketing, content creation, and brand awareness based on interest

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (HR, Business, or related field preferred)
