Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights?


Join a hospital in Michigan City, IN as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a multidisciplinary team. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and capture critical hemodynamic and fluoroscopic data to support patient care. This opportunity is for a Cath Lab Tech III contractor role supporting cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology patients.


Minimum Qualifications

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • State-specific licensure when required.
  • Experience with sedation and circulation competency required.
  • Experience with equipment such as Philips Xper, balloon pump, and Impella preferred.
  • Experience working with Epic/Cupid EMR preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Recording competency is preferred.
  • Prior experience with cardiology, vascular, or interventional radiology patient populations preferred.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented professional preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:00–16:00.
  • Schedule: four 8–10 hour shifts per week, with flexibility for 7:00–16:30 or 4–9 hour variations as needed.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 (based on four 10-hour shifts option).
  • On-call weekends required.
  • Call requirement: approximately 8 call shifts in a 4-week period.
  • Float requirements: no floating to other facilities.
