Responsibilities - Set up, operate, changeover, and optimize assigned production equipment to meet daily output and quality standards - Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform repairs within scope, and escalate major problems to supervisors or engineering - Conduct preventative maintenance as specified in the plant's PM program to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime - Maintain accurate equipment logs and production records with clear, legible handwriting - Start up machinery, monitor component inventories, and ensure all safety guards are in place and operational - Clean, adjust, and repair equipment as needed to support continuous production and minimize waste - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area at all times - Perform and document all quality checks and process challenges to uphold product standards - Support upstream and downstream operations, assist with rework, and function effectively in a team environment - Observe all safety, environmental, and quality system requirements Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance or similar mechanical role - Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills - Familiarity with industrial tools and ability to read machine blueprints - Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks throughout shift - Excellent communication, recordkeeping, and teamwork abilities - High attention to detail and commitment to safety - Willingness to undergo eye exam and wear PPE, including safety steel/composite toe shoes Preferred Skills - Experience with automated production equipment - Prior work in high-volume manufacturing environments Benefits - Competitive pay rate: $21.00/hour - 3-2-2-3 day shift schedule (8AM-8PM): Enjoy more days off and better work/life balance - No drug screening required for assignment; immediate start available while background checks are pending (criminal background must clear before assignment begins) - Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality - Opportunity to gain valuable experience with advanced production technology How to Apply Ready to take the next step in your equipment maintenance career?
