Job description

As a International Affairs Program Management Support you will serve as program advisor for extremely time critical technical projects, test projects, or tasks requiring appropriate level technical expertise.
Other Job duties include:
  • Assist acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements and documents.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including international equities, to verify program needs are identified to meet project goals.
  • Support acquisition planning and development of documents required for systems acquisition.
  • Draft, review, and edit final program reports, documents, and briefings.
  • Leverage experience SAP or SCI environments to coordinate with Government security agencies for program documentation approvals.
  • Coordinate across the Department of Defense (DoD), as necessary. Coordination will include producing, tracking, and coordinating all agreements and documentation necessary for AFRCO systems to transition seamlessly into a framework for organizing, training, and equipping for program success.
  • Help the Government assess the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables.
  • Confer with program managers to provide technical advice and to assist with problem resolution as needed.
  • Report status on all support efforts including updates in status and performance, major activities, challenges and opportunities, and deliverables.

Required Experience:
  • 20+ years' experience of relevant Department of War program experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least 1 year within the last 5 years
  • Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field
  • Master's Degree in relevant field - DESIRED
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act - Level I acquisition Certification / Level II desired

Clearance Requirements:
  • Current/active Top Secret/SCI; Current or recent DoD SAP access
