We're actively seeking a Operational Risk Coordinator. This role will be 4 days onsite in Newport Beach, CA.

As Operational Risk Coordinator, you'll support the execution and continuous improvement of governance, risk, and compliance processes, including issue management, remediation tracking, risk acceptances, and oversight reporting. The role helps improve GRC platforms, develop reporting and analytics, and deliver insights through dashboards and management reporting. Working closely with Internal Audit, risk leaders, and business stakeholders, you'll support governance activities, drive process improvements, and promote consistent risk management practices across the organization.

How you will help move us forward:

  • Coordinate issue management activities, including remediation tracking, risk acceptances, and governance reporting
  • Improve GRC platforms and processes, supporting system enhancements, data quality, and operational efficiency
  • Assist with user training and support for Archer and Power BI reporting, helping teams use platform capabilities effectively
  • Develop risk and compliance reporting, including dashboards, metrics, and management insights
  • Support audits and governance activities by coordinating evidence requests, remediation efforts, and stakeholder engagement
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across risk, compliance, technology, audit, and business teams to support GRC initiatives

The experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience supporting issue management, remediation tracking, governance processes, or risk management programs
  • Experience working with data and reporting
  • Good organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience working with applications such as Archer and/or ServiceNow
  • 2 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with operational risk, issue management, policy management, governance frameworks, and cybersecurity
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, PMP, or related credentials

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
