Job description

Position Title: Sales Director, Acquire

Department Name: McLean & Company - Acquire

Reporting Manager: Rohan Gujral, RVP, or Brad Markis, AVP of Sales (TBD)

Location: Toronto, ON, London, ON or Remote within Canada

Position Purpose

As a Sales Director you will grow and develop a high-performance team that is building relationships and chasing new business for our McLean & Company product line. You will develop and grow your high-performance team comprised of 8 junior to veteran sales staff leveraging the value selling framework.  You will have the opportunity to shape, improve, set, and execute the sales and service strategy of the organization as you partner with other Sales Directors and your manager.

Our ideal candidate has had success in both sales and people management and is looking for a high impact opportunity on a great team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop sales representatives while achieving 100%+ Quota Attainment across the team, through effective sales process and people management.
  • Assist with the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new McLean sales team members.
  • Manage and develop your team through effective performance management, coaching and training; monitor daily sales activity; participate in performance appraisal program; assist team members with professional development; manage engagement and morale through the effective use of company resources and incentives.
  • Cultivate collaboration and leadership competencies among direct reports.
  • Monitor and report on sales and outreach metrics on a weekly/monthly basis whilst executing against the HR Acquire Playbook policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with management and research to facilitate the best possible communication and proof of concept to prospective members.
  • Assist in Sales conversations and provide on-call support to insure successful account acquisition.
  • Work with McLean Leadership and fellow Sales Directors to create and execute against the HR Acquire Strategy Map whilst working within company processes and policies.
  • Promote a positive corporate image of McLean by ensuring that appropriate and specified standards are maintained in all sales and service delivery activities.
