Position Summary

GEICO is seeking an analytical, strategic, and results-driven Assistant Insurance Product Manager to support product performance and growth initiatives across assigned markets.

This role is responsible for evaluating product performance, profitability, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness while identifying opportunities to improve business results. The successful candidate will apply strategic thinking, sound judgment, and strong analytical capabilities to address complex business challenges, manage risk, and contribute to GEICO's long-term profitable growth.

This is a high-impact role offering strong visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to directly influence business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned markets to support profitability targets and enterprise growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor product profitability, loss ratios, and key performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations, filing requirements, and internal governance standards.
  • Lead ownership of complex business challenges, including product features, initiatives, and strategic projects.
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across product, actuarial, underwriting, legal, and operations teams.
  • Support new product development, launches, and rollout execution, including coordination across cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Five or more years of experience in insurance product management or insurance data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience managing insurance products, including profit and loss accountability.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, operate effectively with incomplete data, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Annual Salary

$97,375.00 - $151,700.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
