As an Acute Care CNA, you will:

  • Provide direct patient care and support in an acute rehab setting.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
  • Follow care plans and protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

A few must haves for the Acute Care CNA:

  • Active CNA license with in the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of ACUTE CARE experience, as required by facility
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
