Our school has partnered with many nursing facilities in the Chicagoland and Rockford area that are willing to hire and pay for students to attend our class while guaranteeing employment with that nursing facility, during and after this course. Illinois Nursing Academy is dedicated to the care that is provided to patients and upholds high standards so that our students can work anywhere after graduation with confidence.

About the Position/ Responsibilities and Duties

Illinois Nursing Academy has the reputation of aiding members of the community receive an education and employment in healthcare. Duties that you will learn through our program and at the nursing facility are:

  • Turning & moving patients.
  • Proper usage of medical supplies.
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.)
  • Checking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, etc.)
  • Assist with other needs of patients
