Duties and Responsibilities
Vaziri-Gohar Lab investigates metabolic dependencies in pancreatic cancer models, including cell culture and preclinical models. Our lab welcomes individuals who are eager to learn and conduct studies related to pancreatic cancer metabolism.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs studies related to pancreatic cancer metabolism under the direct supervision of Principal Investigator.
  • Analyzes and interprets data from experiments.
  • Maintains overall lab organization including ordering supplies, monitoring equipment, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Train students and other staff in research protocols and lab rules.
  • Attends monthly journal clubs and lab meetings.
  • Presents research results at national and local meetings.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum Education
  • Required: Bachelors Degree
  • Preferred: Masters Degree Specify Degree(s): Biological or physical sciences

  • Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
