Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

Willow Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents. Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of care

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to licensed and unlicensed nursing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and safety for residents

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction surveys, and other ongoing quality improvement activities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accreditation standards, and company policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including but not limited to staff performance evaluations, incident reports, and quality indicators

Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:
