Job Description
Anoka Technical College is seeking Nursing Assistant faculty members for full-time and part-time teaching. Day, evening, and some weekend courses are available, and course schedules can be modified to accommodate instructor preferences. This position instructs students using the Minnesota State Curriculum for Nursing Assistants in preparation to take the state competency exam and register for the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement
Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
