The Right Fit:
The Assistant Housekeeping Lead supports the Housekeeping Lead with the daily coordination of the housekeeping team while remaining actively involved in cleaning and preparing guest rooms and common areas.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys supporting and motivating others, and knows how to keep a team organized during busy days. You're comfortable stepping in wherever needed, checking completed rooms, helping prioritize workloads, and ensuring guests consistently arrive to a clean and welcoming space.
What You'll be Doing:
  • Support the daily coordination and assignment of housekeeping duties.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas as required.
  • Inspect completed rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
  • Help train, coach, and support housekeeping team members.
  • Monitor room status and communicate priorities with the front desk and hotel team.
  • Track housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities and flag replenishment needs.
  • Respond to guest requests and housekeeping concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Step into a lead role when the Housekeeping Lead is unavailable.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
  • Previous lead, supervisory, or senior housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and detail.
  • Ability to work alongside the team in a physically active role.
  • Strong organization and ability to prioritize rooms during busy periods.
