Job description

Golden Ridge Stables is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Riding Instructor to join our team year-round. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hunt seat equitation on the flat (no jumping), horsemanship, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction to riders of all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct riding lessons for individuals and small groups (beginner through advanced riders)

  • Develop lesson plans tailored to each studentโ€™s needs and goals

  • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills

  • Work with horses and riders of all ages and abilities

  • Create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment

  • Teach proper riding techniques and horsemanship

  • Participate in special events, clinics, and competitions as appropriate

  • Maintain strong communication with riders and families

  • Support horse care, stable management, and safety practices

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of hunt seat equitation and horsemanship

  • Experience working with horses and riders of all levels
