Natural Health Consultant/Supplement Specialist

Job Purpose

  • TheNatural Health Consultant/SupplementSpecialistat GoodEarthMarkets is responsible for providing expert guidance on wellness education, particularly in the areas of vitamins, minerals, herbal, and sports nutrition supplementation. This role is crucial in enhancing customer experience by assisting individuals in selecting appropriate wellness products to address their health concerns and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage extensive knowledge in herbology, supplements, holistic health care, and sports nutrition to assist customers in making informed decisions about wellness products.
  • Apply expertise in herbs and natural supplements to promote healing and enhance the quality of life for customers.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by helping customers find store products that align with their health needs.

  • Organize, clean, and maintain backstock of wellness products, ensuring an orderly and efficient stockroom.

  • Clean, stock, face, organize, and replenish shelves in the wellness department to ensure a neat and inviting shopping environment.

  • Perform janitorial tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming store atmosphere.

  • Utilize retail experience to enhance customer interactions and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge in herbalism/herbal medicine, supplements, holistic health care, and sports nutrition.

  • Experience in organizing and maintaining backstock and wellness product inventory.

  • Experience applying knowledge of herbs and natural supplements to enhance human health and improve quality of life.

  • Customer service and retail experience in a health and wellness setting.

  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in vitamin, mineral, herbal, and sports nutrition supplementation.

  • Proficient in assisting customers with selecting store products to address health concerns and improve quality of life.
  • Ability to complete a wellness questionnaire that coversthe utilization of herbs and supplements ina way that both enhances and restoresall systems of thehuman body.

  • Competence in performing stock room organization and janitorial tasks.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining product displays and inventory.

  • Competence in expressing compassion for and exhibiting patience in working with customers seeking assistance.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive bending/lifting.
