Location: Olive Branch, MS
Shift Hours:
  • Monday – Friday: 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Saturday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (By exception – see supervision)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hazmat/DOT Ground Shipping Clerk to support our shipping and logistics operations. This role ensures that all outbound ground shipments comply with DOT and hazardous material regulations while meeting customer delivery expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process hazardous material and non-hazardous material ground shipments in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Accurately complete shipping paperwork, labels, and documentation for domestic ground freight.
  • Inspect and verify product packaging, labeling, and placarding for all shipments.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and carriers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
  • Maintain shipping records and ensure data accuracy in internal systems.
  • Assist with inventory control, staging orders, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with DOT ground shipping and Hazmat compliance required.
  • Certification or training in DOT and Hazmat shipping regulations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
