Job description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the company's accounting and financial operations. This individual will work directly with the President to provide accurate financial reporting, improve processes, manage cash flow, and support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who can manage day-to-day financial operations while contributing to the company's long-term growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, banks, and other financial partners.
  • Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support strategic planning, operational initiatives, and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
  • Experience managing accounting staff and financial operations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
