This position works closely with operations, project management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Collaborate with operations teams to develop construction approaches and execution strategies
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed
  • Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimating, and feasibility studies during preconstruction
  • Maintain accurate estimating databases and historical cost information
  • Support project handoff activities to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or construction-related environments
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project delivery processes
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple pursuits and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with project teams, and helping secure high-quality projects that drive company growth and long-term success.
