Job description

Must Be 21 years or older AND be a licensed insured driverSummary

To clean assigned areas in commercial and government facilities to an acceptable level of quality. Must possess a working knowledge of janitorial terms and perform tasks within established time standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
  • Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
  • Floor Care: Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.

  • Government Standards: Maintain performance standards subject to inspection by government officials.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist with bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills in stocking aisles as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None

Education Requirements

Ability to read or identify names of chemicals on containers.

Experience Requirements

Experience with proper use of chemicals and equipment.
