We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting data visualization and user interfaces in a secure, cloud-hosted environment. This role focuses on building responsive, intuitive, and highly interactive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks within an Agile team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and maintain responsive web application interfaces using JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Implement data visualization features, dashboards, and interactive UI components following established design patterns and coding standards.
• Consume REST APIs and integrate front-end interfaces seamlessly with back-end services and custom-built components.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are translated accurately while maintaining web accessibility and secure client-side practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write front-end unit tests (e.g., using Jest or Vitest) and assist with cross-browser and integration testing.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to implement functional requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing client-side performance and software defects. REQUIRED SKILLS: • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a heavy focus on front-end architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js (or similar modern frameworks with a willingness to focus on Vue).
• Experience connecting front-end applications to cloud-hosted REST APIs.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack) and basic DevSecOps practices.
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher (or ability to obtain). PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 or enterprise application platforms.
• Experience supporting regulated or government systems.
