Content Editor

C² Technologies seeks a Content Editor to contribute and edit written content for use in online and classroom training products. The Content Editor will work with a team of professionals to ensure that all content is clear, accurate, and aligns with instructional goals. This is an onsite or hybrid position.

Summary:
The Content Editor will assist in editing and refining instructional content, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other team members to ensure that content meets quality and instructional standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides.

  • Work with SMEs to ensure content accuracy.

  • Assist in the development of instructional materials for various learning formats.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improving content.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field.

  • 3 years of related experience in content editing.

  • Familiarity with AP, CMOS, or other industry-standard style guides.

  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience with instructional design and training content.

  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards.

  • Experience working with content management systems (e.g., SharePoint).

Tools amp; Software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Content management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, LMS).

Knowledge amp; Skills:

  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of best practices for creating instructional materials.
