We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Paralegal to join our legal team and support regulatory and compliance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in compliance while working alongside an experienced senior compliance paralegal.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, energetic, and eager to learn. You'll work with multiple systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure regulatory filings, documentation, and compliance processes are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for SERFF filings, including tracking filing status and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, redlines, and filing records.
- Update and maintain Confluence pages, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Create and manage Jira tickets for form updates, regulatory changes, and workflow tracking.
- Maintain State Information Guides, including SERFF filing numbers and form editions.
- Execute form updates within Silverlake Forms Designer using compliance specifications.
- Manage compliance calendars, regulatory deadlines, and SERFF objection timelines.
- Assist with compliance audits by maintaining form inventories and audit trackers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare reports and provide general administrative support for the compliance team.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and cross-functional teams on various projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 1–3+ years of experience in a legal, compliance, regulatory, insurance, healthcare, or administrative environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable learning new software, systems, and workflows.
- Experience with SERFF, Jira, Confluence, or similar workflow/document management systems is a plus but not required.
- Insurance or regulatory compliance experience is a plus but not required.
