Job description

Responsibilities

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for aย Forensic Architect/Project Managerย to join our dynamic Diagnostics Group. The qualified candidate will have relevant experience acquiring forensic Architectural business related to architectural design, construction, moisture intrusion, and building enclosure components. Experience with premises liability claims and/or accessibility standards is a plus. Project Management experience is required.

Theย Forensic Architect/Project Managerย will take on the responsibility of managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office with focus on forensics, premises liability, and building enclosure related work. This candidate will also assist in marketing, business development and growth of the Diagnostics Group. The architect should have experience and interest in the area of restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues in addition to forensic architecture work.

The qualified candidate should also possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and assertiveness when meeting client and project needs, are required.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Architecture preferred;
  • 7+ years of relevant experience including architectural design experience;
  • Architectural license is required;
  • Litigation/ forensics experience and attorney/insurance client relationships;
  • Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT);
  • Strong technical, written and verbal communication including strong people management skills and customer service focused;
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines; and
  • Strong customer service focus.

As a Hybrid Firm, Walter P Moore combines the best of both worlds - blending work options to include in-office and home office environments. This allows us to offer more flexibility and work-life integration to our employees. Candidates applying for this position should have the ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office.

To ensure the ability to setup a suitable home office space, Walter P Moore offers a one-time $1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment. An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses
