Reports to: General Manager and Director of Operations
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, experienced Front of House Manager for Goodwood Brewing Company's Frankfort, Kentucky location. The Front of House Manager, in coordination with the General Manager, will be responsible for managing daily operations of the restaurant, including selection, development and performance management of our team. In addition, the Front of House Manager will assist in inventory management, ordering of food and/or supplies, and ensure that guests have a memorable experience.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
• Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
• Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
The ideal candidate will possess/be/have:
• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
• Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and motivation.
• Present themselves in a professional, pleasant manner with a neat and clean appearance.
• Ability to work well under pressure and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
