HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GLOBAL MISSION:

  • Participate in daily pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring the aircraft is operationally ready, clean, and maintained in excellent condition. This includes fueling, washing, and engine inspections.
  • Maintain proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM), aircraft systems, and emergency procedures while monitoring air-to-air and air-to-ground communications.
  • Provide continuous support for traffic collision avoidance and situational awareness.
  • Operate helicopter role equipment, including external rescue hoists, mapping tools, cameras, and aerial firefighting systems such as fixed water tanks, hydraulic snorkels, buckets, and sling loads.
  • Conduct detailed pre-flight inspections, fuel sampling, and assist with ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Document maintenance in compliance with FAA and company regulations, supporting the Crew Chief or Assistant Crew Chief as required.
  • Accurately review, maintain, and manage flight logs, aircraft records, and operational reports to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations by analyzing conditions and taking appropriate action to ensure crew and mission safety.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
