ACV is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Auto Auction Block Clerk to assist in our fast-paced, high-energy auction environment. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and efficient recording of bids, coordinating with auctioneers, and supporting smooth auction operations. What you will do:

  • Work alongside the auctioneer to record bids, track vehicle sales, and confirm buyer numbers in real time.
  • Accurately enter sale prices and buyer details into auction software during live auctions.
  • Relay important vehicle details and seller announcements to bidders when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with ringmen, auctioneers, and buyers to facilitate a seamless bidding process.
  • Verify bidder credentials and confirm transactions before finalizing vehicle sales.
  • Assist title clerks and accounting teams in ensuring correct documentation and payment processing.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies in sales records promptly.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with dealers, consignors, and auction staff.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and post-auction paperwork processing.
  • Support auction setup, post-sale reconciliation, and other duties as assigned.
