Surveyor in Training I (SIT) - Tavares, FL!
Halff has an opening for a new graduate land surveyor in training, with opportunities to learn and work with licensed Florida PSMs and seek future survey licensure.
What you will do:
  • Organize research for field surveys.
  • Join and assist field crews as needed.
  • Reduce field observations.
  • Prepare data for drafting.
  • Assist the PSM by preparing Survey Reports.
  • Prepare deed sketches.
  • Prepare COGO calculations.
  • Assist the PSM with the Boundary and Right of Way Analysis.

What you will need:
  • 0-2 years' experience in the field or office directing survey crew for boundary, topographic, site, utility, or construction surveys.
  • Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus.
  • FDOT, Public Works, or Land Development survey experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus.
  • Bachelors in Geomatics or equivalent survey-focused degree for licensure required.
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screen.
