Assistant Feature Film Development information

How much does a film PA get paid?

A film production assistant (PA) typically earns between $150 and $300 per day, depending on the location, production budget, and experience. Entry-level PAs often start at the lower end, while more experienced assistants or those on larger productions may earn higher wages. PAs usually work long hours and are responsible for various support tasks on set.

What jobs in the US pay 300,000 a year?

In the US, high-paying roles such as senior film development executives, producers, and top-level creative directors in the entertainment industry can earn $300,000 or more annually. These positions typically require extensive experience, strong industry connections, and leadership skills, often working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. For assistant roles in film development, salaries are generally lower, but senior-level positions in the industry can reach or exceed this compensation level.

What jobs make 10,000 a month without a degree?

Assistant Feature Film Development roles typically do not pay $10,000 a month without significant experience or industry connections. High-paying jobs that can reach this level without a degree often include sales, real estate, entrepreneurship, or skilled trades like plumbing or electrical work, which rely more on skills and certifications than formal education.

Is 30 too old to get into the film industry?

The Assistant Feature Film Development role, like many film industry positions, values experience, skills, and a strong portfolio over age. Many successful professionals start or transition into the industry later in life, and age is rarely a barrier if you have relevant knowledge, networking skills, and a passion for storytelling.
