The TRX Marketing Design team is looking for a Graphic Designer, Marketing to support Picksy, a new offering from People Inc. The primary focus for this role will be helping shape, scale, and execute Picksy's visual expression across brand, marketing, and promotional channels.
As a Graphic Designer, Marketing, you will help conceptualize and execute clear, compelling visual designs across digital marketing channels, with opportunities to support print, event, partnership and special projects as needed. You will create work that is innovative, effective, on brand and aligned with business goals, campaign requirements, and creative best practices.
This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated designer with a strong visual sense, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for building brand and marketing creative that is both beautiful and purposeful.
Assignment Details:
40 hours a week
Start date: ASAP
End date: 6 months with potential to extend
Hourly Rate: $20-25
Location: Des Moines Office
Assignment Responsibilities:
  • Design digital marketing assets including emails, display ads, paid and social assets, GIFs, animations, landing page visuals, branded promotional content, presentation materials, event graphics, and special projects.
  • Apply strong layout, typography, color, image selection, and visual hierarchy skills to create clear and effective marketing communications.
  • Develop campaign creative that can scale across formats, placements, sizes, and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Support the development and refinement of Picksy's visual brand system across marketing touchpoints.
  • Translate creative briefs, campaign goals and business requirements into polished visual assets.
  • Create design variations when needed to support campaign testing, optimization and performance learnings.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and quality.
  • Be nimble and ready to take on new challenges, shifting priorities, and emerging opportunities as they arise.

Skills/Experience:
  • 2-4 years of agency, marketing, digital, brand, or promotional design experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design skills across digital marketing, campaign, promotional, or brand work.
  • Strong understanding of advertising, promotion, branding, and graphic design.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite-and Affinity Designer (not required, but must have a willingness to pick up new programs). Figma knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with video editing and animation are a major plus
  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine color, typography, imagery, and layout with careful attention to visual detail.
  • Understanding of digital marketing formats, including email, social, display, and responsive campaign assets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many projects at once and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners.
  • Comfortable self-teaching or sourcing tutorials for design programs when needed.
