What is an assistant ergonomics?

Assistant ergonomists are professionals who support the work of ergonomists by helping to assess and improve the design of workplaces, products, or systems to fit the needs of users. They may assist in conducting ergonomic assessments, collecting data, analyzing work environments, and recommending changes to prevent injury and enhance comfort and productivity. Assistant ergonomists often work under the supervision of senior ergonomists and may be involved in training employees on proper ergonomic practices. Their goal is to help create safer and more efficient workplaces.
