Empire Landscape is seeking an experienced Environmental Restoration Project Manager to lead field-driven restoration and stormwater projects across the region.

We are a stable, mid-sized company where project managers have real ownership — not layers of corporate approval. If you’re confident running environmental job sites and want long-term growth in a supportive team environment, this role offers both stability and opportunity.

  • Tree removal and preservation

  • Invasive species management

  • Native habitat restoration and bioengineering

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgets, schedules, crews, and subcontractors

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and specifications

  • Read and interpret plans, contracts, and technical documents

  • Prepare RFIs and submittals

  • Coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, contractors, and internal staff

  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental restoration, landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture

  • Experience overseeing field operations

  • Strong understanding of environmental construction practices

  • Ability to identify native trees and shrubs

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

  • Degree in Environmental Science or related field

  • Experience with municipal or government contracts

  • Spanish language skills

  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
